With over a lifetime of hands-on experience, our owner and operator, Todd Flammang, leads the way in creating durable and beautiful concrete installations. Todd started helping his father on concrete jobs at about seven years old. After high school he served four years in the Army, then poured concrete for new base housing at Fort Riley, Kansas and Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noster, Missouri. Back home he spent four years with a Quad Cities residential and commercial contractor, about two years doing union commercial concrete around San Diego, and then 15 years with three union contractors in Iowa, still helping his father and taking side work along the way. In 2017 he started Muddy Rivers Concrete.

The work is about half residential and half commercial. For homeowners that means driveways and sidewalks, patios, stamped concrete and foundations for additions and garages. For businesses it means parking lots, gas station concrete, finished floors and repairs. Todd builds every job like he was doing it at his own house, doesn't cut corners, and explains why your concrete is doing what it's doing and how he'll fix it so it doesn't happen again. On custom work, you get a say in the layout.

Muddy Rivers Concrete is based in Blue Grass and works across the Quad Cities on both sides of the river, including Davenport, Bettendorf, Eldridge, LeClaire, Walcott, DeWitt, Muscatine and Clinton in Iowa, and Milan, Coal Valley and Port Byron in Illinois.
